Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM; on-call 2-3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in a stroke center for an Interventional Radiology unit. The ideal candidate will provide support in a new state-of-the-art facility. Responsibilities include assisting with patient care during procedures and recovery as well as handling specialty equipment.

Responsibilities

• Primary RN responsibilities in procedural rooms, including scrub and circulation duties.


• Assist with conscious sedation recovery.


• Provide care for patients requiring Interventional Radiology procedures.


• Support the portable Midline team for midline insertion throughout the facility.


• Assist with the management of medication during procedures, including moderate sedation and vasoactive drips.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in a stroke center or interventional radiology.


• Active NJ or Compact RN Licensure required upon submission.


• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.


• Experience with specialty equipment (EKOS, A-line, procedural wedge pressures) is mandatory.


• ED or ICU experience is highly preferred.
