Senior Tax Accountant, Cpa

Location: Frisco, TX

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Tax Accountant, CPA to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to lead tax projects, ensuring compliance and providing insightful tax strategies to our diverse clientele. The position requires a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage tax projects to ensure accuracy and timely delivery for clients.
  • Perform comprehensive tax compliance tasks for both individual and business clients, including tax preparation, planning, and projections.
  • Review complex tax returns and offer strategic insights utilizing extensive tax knowledge.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and manage tax inquiries, ensuring effective resolution and communication.
  • Oversee accounting processes and financial reporting, contributing to client service excellence.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting a culture of growth and high performance.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies for client growth and operational enhancements.
Qualifications
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax returns for 3 consecutive tax seasons.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in problem-solving.
  • Experience with tax compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
