As part of a diverse and skilled Service Delivery Team, you will be tasked with implementing services and solutions for UFS clients. The Network Onboarding Analyst position provides entry level support, installation, and maintenance for clients. The nature of the role involves continued participation in refinements of the product/s and/or service/s through basic maintenance, support, and automation initiatives. The role includes all the responsibilities of a junior analyst in addition to the below.

Knowledge and Skills

A qualified individual will possess the following:

  • Knowledge of core networking concepts, including IP addresses, subnets, routing, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
  • Experience with onboarding or provisioning network devices such as switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers
  • Ability to follow structured onboarding processes and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail when managing configurations, diagrams, and customer documentation
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to independently follow onboarding schedules and adjust priorities based on timeless
  • Familiarity with working alongside ISPs and 3rd party vendors.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment with a focus on accuracy and details
  • Effective time-management, prioritization and scheduling skills
  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned onboarding tasks including network hardware deployment, configuration, and documentation
  • Configure switches, firewalls, wireless access points, or routers per project standards and client-specific needs
  • Follow project documentation, onboarding checklists, and configuration templates
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information
  • Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues
  • Contribute to project implementations, ensuring quality assurance
  • Engage in refinement projects to enhance system efficiency
  • Perform ongoing maintenance to ensure system reliability
  • Update ticket and project status regularly for effective tracking
  • Proactively seek assistance or escalate issues when necessary
  • Attend team meetings to stay updated on organizational developments
  • Train on innovative technologies for skill enhancement
  • Learn internal company processes
  • Study for certifications to validate expertise
  • Complete repeatable, documented IT maintenance tasks
  • Log, prioritize, and track requests, including documenting actions taken to resolve requests
  • Participate in technical projects as directed
  • Work with third party vendors on behalf of customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; preference for Information Systems/Technology majors
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support environment preferred
  • Experience within the financial services industry is a plus
